  • Include family members: Applicants can add their spouse or partner and dependent children to the visa, making it easier for graduates with families to settle temporarily.
  • Work without restrictions: Enjoy full work rights across all sectors, gaining hands-on experience and applying their skills in the Australian job market.

Eligibility

  • You must be younger than 35 years old as of July 1, 2024.
  • Submit proof of a recent police clearance from your home country, such as an AFP (Australian Federal Police) check.
  • Must have held a valid Student Visa (Subclass 500) within the last six months.
  • Show proof of English language proficiency by completing an approved English test.

Length of Stay

The length of the Post-Study Work Visa depends on the level of education completed and the type of qualification earned. Generally, the visa is granted for 2 to 4 years, offering graduates sufficient time to build professional connections and acquire meaningful work experience.

Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) Visa – Graduate Work Stream

  • Recent graduates: Available to individuals who have recently completed their studies at an Australian institution.
  • Qualified professionals: Tailored for candidates whose qualifications and expertise are listed on Australia’s Skilled Occupation List (SOL).

Eligibility

  • Have recently completed a qualification from a recognized Australian university or educational institution.
  • Submit proof of either having applied for a skills assessment or having received a positive skills assessment result.
  • Select an occupation that is listed on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL).

Length of Stay

The TSS Visa (Graduate Work Stream) permits graduates to live and work in Australia for up to 18 months, offering them a chance to apply their skills in the local job market and possibly transition into long-term employment.
