Ireland offers a wide range of scholarships, including government-funded, private, and university-specific awards. Each year, more than 3,000 scholarships are granted, amounting to approximately €8 million, giving students numerous opportunities to access financial support for their education in Ireland.

The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) provides full tuition coverage and a €10,000 stipend to non-EU students enrolled in a one-year taught Master’s program or the first year of a PhD in Ireland. This esteemed scholarship is designed to support international postgraduate education in the country.

University College Dublin provides the UCD Global Excellence Graduate Scholarships to outstanding international postgraduate students. Available to applicants from around the world, these scholarships cover 50% to 100% of the tuition fees.

Trinity College Dublin provides full-tuition scholarships to exceptional international undergraduate students. These distinguished awards are offered in two tiers: the top tier covers full tuition costs, while the lower tier grants between €2,000 and €5,000 toward first-year tuition fees.

The National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) offers scholarships to international students enrolled in a range of programs. Depending on specific eligibility criteria, the scholarship provides funding from €1,500 up to a partial waiver of the tuition fee.
